Standard: We craft our standard full dentures with the same care and precision we bring to all of our work. All standard cases include impressions, a bite registration (for how your jaw works), a wax try in of your denture (its your real denture but in a wax base) so you can see what your new denture will look like before they are processed.

Premium: While standard, conventional dentures are a good choice for overall comfort and functionality, patients seeking a more accurate and natural-looking restoration should inquire about our premium dentures.

Premium dentures provide enhanced aesthetic appeal, additional comfort, and superior fit and function – these features produce an amazing, incredibly natural looking smile.

Using sophisticated instrumentation and techniques, your facial information is recorded to recreate the character of your smile and help to restore the natural contours of your lips and facial muscles. These additional measurements provide more precise function in relation to the movements of your jaw.

To learn more about our Standard or Premium Dentures, call us to arrange your complimentary consultation with one of our Denturists.

Implant retained dentures are a lasting and effective solution for securing dentures. They provide superior function, and the aesthetic appeal of a fuller, more natural looking smile.

Our Denturists work in conjunction your oral surgeon to develop your treatment plan and to coordinate the scheduling of procedures.

If you have missing teeth and think you could benefit from dental implants, or are looking for an alternative to conventional dentures, please contact our office for a complimentary consultation.

Partial dentures are a great solution for replacing missing teeth and they are generally more cost effective than bridges.

Partial dentures help to maintain the position of your natural teeth by providing them with added support. This support can prevent your natural teeth from shifting or drifting into the space left by the loss of natural teeth.

Immediate dentures are created for you by one of our Denturists prior to your scheduled tooth extractions, for placement immediately following your tooth extraction. We work with you to create your immediate dentures and then provide them to you to take to your extraction appointment to be placed by your dentist or oral surgeon.

Aside from the obvious advantage of having a full set of teeth immediately following extraction, there are many other post operative advantages to immediate dentures.

  • Following the removal of your natural teeth, immediate dentures act as a ‘bandage’ for your tissue and can help reduce discomfort following tooth extraction.
  • Immediate dentures allow you to chew better after surgery than you could without teeth during the initial healing period – which is generally 4-8 weeks.
  • It is easier to duplicate the accuracy of the form, size and arrangement of your natural teeth using immediate dentures, so we can transfer that information to the creation of your new dentures while some or all of your natural teeth still remain in your mouth.
  • Immediate dentures will need to be relined as the shape of your mouth changes in the months following extraction.

Transitional Immediate Dentures are temporary dentures.  Just like immediate dentures, they are inserted after extraction.  However, unlike immediate dentures, they are designed to be replaced by permanent dentures following the extraction healing process, as they cannot be religned as your mouth and gum change in the months following extraction.

*Transitional Immediate dentures are designed to be used for up to one year following extractions and are to be replaced by standard or premium dentures.

To help you determine if you require, or are best suited to immediate dentures, or transitional immediate dentures, please call our office to arrange an appointment with one of our Denturists.

For lower denture wearers experiencing soreness or sore spots due to chewing or gum sensitivity, we offer soft liners to help cushion the gums and provide additional comfort.  Soft liners are pliable inserts that we place inside the denture to add some additional support and lessen discomfort.

Denture soreness and loosening of the denture can occur for several reasons.  To learn more about why this may be occurring, and to determine if a soft liner can help you, please call to arrange a complimentary consultation with one of our Denturists.

Vout’s Denture Centre offers same day professional denture repairs.  No appointment is necessary for a repair although please allow 3-4 hours working time for us to complete your repair.  Stop by our office and we would be happy to assist you.

In order to restore the retentive qualities of your denture and to prevent tissue irritation, you should have your denture professionally relined at least once every two years.

After a new denture has been inserted, the inside of the denture base should conform to the shape of your mouth, resulting in a comfortable and close fit. However, over time the tissue underneath the denture will begin to change and you may find that the longer you wear your denture, the looser it will become.  This combined with constant ‘rocking’ due to chewing or flexing causes the acrylic to weaken.  Periodic relines will help to lessen rocking and act as preventative maintenance to avoid potential breakage and reduce excess wear of the gum tissue.

At our office relines are a next day procedure. Why next day?  To ensure optimal fit your denture is processed the same way your denture was originally made and remove all chemical residues. This is a multi-hour procedure.

To help maintain the look of your dentures and to add to your regular maintenance routine, Vout’s offers professional denture cleaning and polishing.  We recommend having your dentures professionally polished 1-2 times per year to help restore their original appearance and to help prevent bacteria from adhering to your dentures.
